This week, due to the lockdown, I got a red lentil soup with apricots for lunch - great taste and sustainable packaging. :-)
Pablo is the best !!!
Courteous service, nice atmosphere
Good coffee!
Has decreased more and more over the years. Coffee, cake, drinks, soups are not really bad, but ... at these prices? Unfortunately, the service is often very unfriendly. One doesn’t seem to need it better to rest on the elite location on the market square. For me no more than 2.5 stars with a downward trend. Too bad.
Very friendly and nice service. Always my pleasure!
Bad coffee quality. Service too
Ok for the first impression
No card payment possible, we are living in 2020 .... Cappuccino only tastes like milk and no biscuit or anything else with it, in my opinion it was more like a milk coffee, completely without any taste. You could eat sandwiches but nothing special either. Unfortunately I would have hoped for a little more. Sugar dispenser clogged and sugar lumpy, had to take another one from a table. Unfortunately we had breakfast there for the first and last time. Really a shame. The only good thing was the bread itself, which was just bought over 5 meters away in the Baden bakery .... Service nice. But that was the only thing that was great. I don't understand the good ratings, apparently none of these people has taste, let alone claims, and many 5 star ratings are fake, which can be seen from the consecutive ratings without comments. They were probably all employees .....
Nothing special. Unfortunately, waiter service is not at the highest level.
Nice staff, got a seat very quickly, food and drinks had a fair and was very tasty. Very good for a relaxed drink or something similar in Durlach.
Food tastes mediocre to ok, but is relatively expensive. What I find worse is the service. A waitress (blonde, early 20s) is very amateurish ... customer orientation is zero. Man is annoyed to be served by such an indifferent person. I don't understand that the cellars are often so bad in this country. Doesn't anyone pay attention to that?
As always very pleasant stay
Good two stars because of the super nice service and the great space. The food was good, the drinks very fine. So why 3 star deduction. The menu is not very varied, which is ok but not great. When the owner of the Cielo sits next to you with a huge schnitzel and fries (not available from him but from the neighbor, Villa Durla) there was the first thought that I would have liked to have. That was the number one hammer The second was when a loud conversation started, that he is very dissatisfied with the solutions how he can open it and that it all worked out and costs significantly more. But it's not a problem, he raises the prices somehow. Conclusion: I understand the location of gastronomy in this difficult Corona period. I am a guest and as such I simply expect a host to know how to behave. Do you anticipate the food of a foreign gastronomy for your own guests? Such conversations in this way in front of the guests? So please! I don't have to be courted! But I'm a guest - at least I was!
Very friendly and delicious mhh coffee recommended
Dear Cielo, to ask for a piece of cake, the back edge of which is not even 3 cm wide, a whopping 3.30 EUR is awesome. And the fact that the operator keeps tipping without being asked doesn't speak for itself either. Too bad the next time we'd rather go somewhere else.
So with Alex (owner of Cielo) and managing director, I can only say that the service is really excellent. I would give Alex a straight 1. We are often there in the Cielo with our family members ..
Actually, I just wanted to eat a bite and relax a little after a busy day. I chose the cafe on an evening walk through Durlach, because it was inviting and friendly. Important to know: It was the first time ever that I was in the really handsome center. The pure gut feeling spontaneously led me there. Then there was no big surprise, also very good relaxed live music. Unfortunately, I could not stay ... I will remember everything well, even if I usually drink only draft beer and no bottled beer !!
We happened to be "stranded" here, because we actually wanted to have breakfast at Anders on the Turmberg and found out that there is chaotic self-service. The emergency plan has proved to be a happy stroke of luck. We had a delicious breakfast and the service was impeccable - attentive and personable. A clear recommendation.
Nice place
Nice waiters, fair prices, cozy atmosphere! A point deduction is only available for the homeopathic amount of my breakfast XD
A quiet and cosy place in the middle of Durlach, where you can enjoy a fine selection of hot and cold drinks. The staff is very friendly and polite. I spent a really pleasant time there.
